Move Mate (York)
Administrator (York)
It takes a lot of work to run a Move Mates project. From ID checking new volunteers, to sending welcome packs and registering new beneficiaries. There are plenty of administrative tasks to get involved with.
Wellbeing Walk Leader (York)
Our Walk Leaders make a huge difference to their local community just by volunteering for around 90 minutes each month.
Leading a Wellbeing Walk helps people who would otherwise struggle experience the joys of walking in a group.
Fundraiser (Anywhere)
Set yourself a challenge, get your friends, family, colleagues and neighbours involved and and help us by raising vital funds to support us.
You can also help raise funds by joining our Fundriasing Group who meet once per month. Check out the events page for more information.
Move Mail Deliverer (York)
Like walking, running or cycling? We deliver mailings to beneficiaries and volunteers using people-power, giving you a great reason to get out and move whilst providing practical support.
Start Your Own Move Mates Project (England and Wales)
Are you absolutely passionate about helping vulnerable and isolated people to improve their wellbeing through walking?
Do you have at least one day a week available to volunteer?
You could start your very own Move Mates project.
Move Map Scout (Anywhere)
You can scout locations from anywhere in the UK. If you spot an outdoor gym or trim trail in your local area, you can provide the information we need to get it on the Move Map.
To submit sites you’ll need to register on our website, provide accurate locations and take lots of brilliant photos.
