We are currently looking for four dynamic candidates with a genuine passion for making a difference to join our Board of Trustees as either Chair, Secretary, or to provide Legal or HR expertise.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a small team influencing the direction of our growing charity, and help to make a measurable difference in improving the wellbeing of our communities through movement.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for people who want to have real influence on our charity’s direction and who can bring their experience and knowledge to help us continue to grow and thrive.
The roles will all require a commitment of approximately 10 hours each month, including up to 6 meetings per year, either in person or via video conference.
You do not necessarily have to be based in York to apply – we will consider remote candidates from across the UK.
We would also love to have representatives from both our lovely volunteer and beneficiary communities on our Board, and we are not expecting applicants to be able to tick off every single skill listed in the job description – if you think you have what it takes and would like to be part of our small team, we’d love to hear from you.
